Eaters downing chili this weekend in DC, Chestnut is right behind the bowl on the right (NBC Washington).
Want to forget about eating lunch today? We've got you covered. Joey Chestnut, who has been the world champion hot dog eater for the past five years, went down to DC this weekend for the World Chili Eating Championship and, well, you'll see.
As you can see, Chestnut won by downing more than two gallons of chili in six minutes (the chili came from Ben's Chili Bowl). And what did he think of all that chili? In a post-eating interview he says the grub was "really delicious." Also, he compares himself to "a marathon runner, or anyone who's pushing their body." As long as he isn't planning on popping out a baby after his next round of competitive eating...
