Seahawks 36, Giants 25: With starting Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson leaving yesterday's game due to injury, one would expect the Giants to easily win against the Seahawks. Jackson left the game with an injury and was replaced by Charlie Whitehurst, who was able to help lead Seattle to victory. Whitehurst thew the go-ahead touchdown pass with 2:37 remaining in the game. The Giants were nearly able to come back, but Eli Manning threw an interception that was returned 94 yards to a touchdown. Manning had three touchdown passes and three interceptions in the loss.

Patriots 30, Jets 21: New England's offense torched the Jets defense for nearly 450 yards, including 321 yards passing by Tom Brady. But it was BenJarvus Green-Ellis and a career-high 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns that really made the difference. New England's defense, worst in the league entering the game, was able to hold New York to just 255 yards, handing the Jets their 3rd straight loss.

I agree with you, I expected easy victory, too. But may be this is what makes game interesting - the unexpected! Thanks for sharing!

Regarding the Jets: Is it play calling or is it the actual effort? You figure by this point in their careers, pro football players would know who to play the game of football.
