Earlier this month high school basketball star Tayshana “Chicken” Murphy was shot down in her Harlem apartment building and today police have arrested two men in relation to her untimely death. Tyshawn Brockington, 21, and Robert Cartagena, 20, were reportedly arrested today in Columbia, South Carolina, where one of the men had a girlfriend.

The pair were together at the time they were picked up. Meanwhile the motive behind the shooting remains murky. Initially, it appeared that Murphy had been slain in a case of mistaken identity, but police now believe the shooting was motivated by a long-running feud between Murphy, her brother Bam-Bam, and young residents of the Manhattanville housing complex. The Murphy family has declined to comment on that speculation.

Meanwhile, a third suspect was arrested last week for providing a gun to Brockington and Cartagena.

Just look at these two well-adjusted individuals. . . I think these two were 'left-behind' in the governmental educational program. . .  Oh well. . .

Bab-bam. Named after the Flinstones character or the sound outside their windows?

To save time and money. . . they should build apartments in Northern Manhattan, the South Bronx and Brooklyn's Bed-Stuy. . . with a lot more closets!
