The final battle for Anthony Weiner's vacated ninth district seat will come to a head next Tuesday—Democratic candidate David Weprin seemed to have the hometurf advantage, but Republican candidate Bob Turner has netted himself some big-name backers, including Ed Koch and The Mayor Of 9/11 Town. But none of that matters now, because Big Poppa Donald Trump has entered the building.
Donald "Enormous Balls" Trump has made an 11th hour endorsement of Turner for the district, a move which Capital Tonight believes could prove to be the final blow for Weprin. To that end, Trump sent out news of his endorsement via "yards and yards of gold silk" robocalls in the district. Below, listen and read Trump's triumphant message of empowerment...with bonus Apprentice reference!
This is Donald Trump, and I’m not calling to fire you, as we say on The Apprentice. I’m calling to fire you up!
Because there’s an important election in Queens and Brooklyn on Tuesday, and we need to elect businessman Bob Turner to Congress.
If you don’t like what’s going on in Washington, if you don’t like what’s happening with Israel, because Israel is being treated very badly and very unfairly by the Obama administration, vote for Bob Turner.
Trust me, they’ll notice. Electing Bob Turner on Tuesday will be a shot heard ’round the country.
Everybody is talking about this election, and everybody is looking to see what’s going to happen.
President Obama and Congress will know that you had a lot to do with it.
It’s enough with the game-playing. It’s enough with all of the nonsense.
Protect Israel. Join me, Donald Trump, in supporting Bob Turner for Congress on Tuesday, September 13th.
Thank you.

"Democratic candidate David Weprin seemed to have the hometurf advantage"\
This is nonsense. Weprin doesn't even live in the district. He is parachuted in by the Democrat machine solely because he is Orthodox. This is extremely patronizing of the democrats who effectively insult the intelligence of the Jewish voters with this sneaky move. They deserve to lose the seat just for pulling this gimmick.

I know Bob Turner and he is a good man who will probably win this seat.
But the back story is that New York state is giving up two seats in the next Congress, and right now the deal in Albany is to give up one Democratic seat and one Republican seat. If Turner wins, guess which Republican seat gets sacrificed? The 9th District will be gobbled up the adjoining Democratically held districts. So the functional net effect is that the Dems will lose two NY seats in the next Congress. Not a bad deal for the state Republicans. The only other bright spot is that the Jewish community at least in Brooklyn is slowly coming to the realization that Obama and the national Democratic Party is throwing Israel under the bus. If there is a flare-up in the Mid-east, do you really think Obama will allow our milatary to resupply Israel with new equipment as we did in 1967 and 1973, or new defense systems as we did during the first Gulf War? Don't bank on it.
After Carter and now Obama, it should be clear to all that the Jewish community can only depend on the Republican party to come to the defense of Israel if needed. And just in time.
