The woman who introduced Carrie Bradshaw to the world is coming back to the small screen, and not just for the Sex and the City prequel series. Author Candace Bushnell will be bringing her book One Fifth Avenue to the ABC as an hour long drama series.

The project, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is being "described as Sex and the City meets The Good Wife and follows columnist Cassie Bingham as she moves back to her downtown apartment located at One Fifth Avenue to reassess her life after her husband asks for a separation."

Gossip Girl's executive producer Josh Safran will adapt the book, and Grey’s Anatomy's Mark Gordon will produce.
