Fatty 'Cue And Brooklyn Star Pull A Trading Places

But with less Dan Aykroyd and more fried pig tails. The pork-heavy Williamsburg restaurants Fatty 'Cue and Brooklyn Star, buds since the way back days (Fatty Cue's general manager actually used to work for Brooklyn Star), are teaming up for a one-weekend only menu switcheroo. It could be great, it could be a disaster...either way, it's an intriguing concept.

On Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27, the restaurants will swap out their signature dishes to feature on their respective dinner menus. Fatty 'Cue will be serving Brooklyn Star's Fried Pig Tails with jalapeno onion hush puppies, and the Star will be doling out 'Cue's Lamb Ribs, cincalok and white wine brine and garlic-lemon emulsion. We wouldn't be surprised if both restaurants try to put their own spin on things.

A Fatty spokesperson says the two gut-busting neighborhood favorites "share an indelible mutual respect and are excited to learn how to make dishes that both chefs really dig." Aw, restaurant crushes! So cute.
