Fringe Fest, the annual opportunity for ridiculous ideas to find an audience, is in full swing this month, and one of the more...creative productions is the Jersey Shoresical: A Frickin' Rock Opera. As they put it: "It's a musical parody, bitch!"

Narrated by "the random sluts," the Shoresical follows the trials and tribulations of Snooki, J-Woww (played by a drag queen), et al, complete with drawn-on tans and gravity-defying hairdos. Regis and Kelly are already fist-pumping with delight, and early reviews praised the heartstring-tugging numbers "I Fucking Love You" (about Sammi and Ron's tormented relationship) and "Snooki's Lament" ("Waah!").

So throw on your favorite A&F sweatpants and ask that sexy gorilla to accompany you to Shoresical—playing August 23-28 at the Bleeker Theater. Tickets available here.

Rock treatment indeed. They should get the stoned-to-death treatment if you ask me.
