Supermodel Linda Evangelista Wants $46K/Month From Baby Daddy (Who Is Married To Salma Hayek)
Linda Evangelista, the 1990s supermodel who famously uttered, "We don't wake up for less than $10000 a day," was in Manhattan Family Court yesterday to demand that the father of her four-year-old son pay a staggering $46,000/month in child support, which was noted as the "largest support order in the history of the Family Court." Of course, the baby daddy happens to be fashion industry billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, who is married to Salma Hayek.
Evangelista's lawyer pointed out that while Pinault, whose company owns or co-owns brands like Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent and Puma, has a $12 million estate in trust for his three-year-old daughter with Hayek, he hasn't contributed at all to the cost of raising son August. Lawyer William Breslow explained that most of the money would go towards nannies and "gun-toting drivers," Pinault's lawyer complained about the $80,000/year cost of a nannies, "She testified that she wants to have a 24-hour nanny because she does not want to be alone with the child . Miss Evangelista, you should understand, has a worth of more than $8 million, and she earned, last year, $1.8 million."
While Support Magistrate Matthew Troy took out the $7,500/month vacation request in expenses, he did say some were credible, "These are the extraordinary expenses that may be a part of the child's life. And if there is a trial [in the support case] with a lot of publicity, there will probably be a need for two detectives to drive this kid around." Evangelista explained she works hard for her money, "On days when I do not work, I am working on my image. I have to hit the gym. I have beauty appointments. I have to work toward my next job and maintaining my image, just like an athlete... When I work, it can be a 16-hour day."

What the hell is she spending $46K on every month for a kid? A nanny, clothes, food, what more does the little fucker need? That should be about 10K MAXIMUM.

So, we know how much Evangelista's net worth is....what about the father's? Think about your child, Mr. Pinault. You live well, I'm sure. Does that mean your child should live less so?
By the way, I wonder if, when phonetically broken down, if the baby daddy's last name - Pinault - is pronounced "pay now?"

Isnt the whole point of this enterprise to fist establish a ridiculous need (Her income should be enough), ask too much and then settle for semi-ridiculous?

Whatever. He spends this much every month heating the toilet seats in all his houses. I don't see this as being a big deal.

Damn and I thought Ghetto kids have it bad...

"Miss Evangelista, you should understand, has a worth of more than $8 million..." Why, pray tell, is this AT ALL relevant? How much one is "worth" should have no relevancy whatsoever to their taking proper care of their children.

then why doesn't she get $3000 a month. Ohhh right, because her baby daddy is loaded so she deserves it.

"The hens on The View were pecking at this story on the show this morning and Whoopi Goldberg said that $46k a month is ridiculous and women need to take responsibility for their actions. To which I say, BITCH, she is taking responsibility! When you open up your vagina to a billionaire and a baby comes out, it is your responsibility to get as much money out of that motherfucker as possible! This is the truth according to life."
I will raise this kid at the bargin rate of $20,000/month. Message me.

I'll do it for $10,000/month and if they act now, I'll throw in a lovely set of steak knives.

it's such a cool aspect of biology and pheromones that these women never sleep with ugly poor fucks, just ugly rich ones. I have an incredibly hard time imagining that she "needs" money to raise her child. Wants? Sure. Deserves? I dunno, maybe. Wants to embarrass him and Salma? Absofuckinglutely. She should get barely anything and her expenditures should be audited with the finest of tooth combs. Babies are humans, not blank checks and if you can't afford one I suggest a condom, they're far cheaper than $46,000.

Why shouldn't he be held accountable? She should get the money.

know why I don't have unprotected sex? Because I can't afford babies. She was well aware of the potential risks of unsafe sex and as she has plenty of money she can afford to raise her baby. I agree he should contribute something but $46k a month? Seriously? Did he force her to have this million dollar baby? If she genuinely needs that much to sustain her child's existence maybe she's not prepared to mother a child and should give it up for adoption. I have zero sympathy for her.

Didn't he know the risk of pregnancy by having unprotected sex? Why is the onus on her? What about him? Takes two to make a baby.

The baby daddy, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, deserves a fist bump from the judge for banging this and Salma Hayek.
If she made 2 million last year, how come she only has a net worth of 8? She's been famous for a lot longer than the last 4 years, and she's had a relatively low profile since the "age of the supermodel".
