Legend Of Zelda Wizard Can't GIVE These Swords Away In Brooklyn

It's tough out there for a wizard, as this photo demonstrates! All you want to do is help people out with their quest to rescue Princess Zelda, but nobody shows the slightest interest in accepting your aid. So you're reduced to putting up fliers outside DUMBO delis practically begging every Tom, Dick, and Link to take a free Master Sword—and you still don't have any takers. Don't these people get it's dangerous out there, and they're gonna need this thing to make it past Ganon in Stabber Alley? Whose Triforce does an old man have to Dodongo to unload these things?!

Seriously though, how can they say Brooklyn is becoming too precious, when not a single person even wants a frickin' Master Sword?

Everybody knows that you have to rip off a few of them yourself first to make people think there is interest.

I guess none of you follow Wil Wheaton on Twitter? http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/...

More likely Liquid Swords, but only after a 3 month probationary period or 10 rival clans uprooted and slain. Whichever comes first.

When someone starts giving away real swords in Brooklyn, let me know.

  • maybe you should look into those employment opportunities with Wu-Tang Clan, I bet Shaolin swords are standard issue with them.

Thats not the 'master sword', its the wooden sword, no wonder no one wants it.

  • Jax

    For real, this is pathetic.

Oh hoh hoh hoh nostalgic cultural reference targeting Gen Xers hits Brooklyn. Who would've expected that?

Man prints out poster from Reddit. News at 11.

Fine... I'll be the geek that has to point it out. Those aren't Master Swords, they are just the first wooden sword given to Link at the start of his journey. The Master Sword is found later in the game in The Lost Woods.

I'll raise the geek level up a few notches:

The Master Sword is NOT found in the Lost Woods.  It's found on either Death Mountain or in the Graveyard (depending on which quest you're playing).  You're thinking of A Link to the Past...
