Amy Winehouse, 27, Reportedly Found Dead In Her London Apartment

Critically acclaimed R&B singer Amy Winehouse was reportedly found dead in her London apartment today at 4 p.m. local time. She was 27 years old. According to the Daily Mail, her death is "believed to be unexplained." Winehouse appeared at a concert on Wednesday featuring her 15-year-old Goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, and according to one source, "staggered onstage" to tell the audience to buy Bromfield's new record.
Winehouse cancelled 11 dates of a European tour after a disappointing performance in Belgrade, Serbia, last month, and later refused payment for the concert. Before embarking on the tour, according to Entertainment Weekly the singer spent two weeks at a clinic in London for unspecified reasons.
Winehouse is best known for her 2006 sophomore album Back To Black, which made her the first woman from the UK to win five Grammys, including Record of the Year, and tied the record held for most Grammys won on a single night by a female artist. Her struggles with drugs and alcohol that she shared with her former husband Blake Fielder-Civil are well-documented. Winehouse joins a host of musicians such as Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain who all died tragic deaths at the age of 27.

I find it more frightening out of all this that more people on facebook commented on Winehouse's death then the tragedy in Norway.

Nope
I'm just as pointless as you and the rest.
Once you accept that
Maybe you'll drop the ego
And open you heart up to real emotions.

Oh man
Quite the insult there chico
I would say though
People might not spit on you so often
If you woke up
And realized we are end up just like her
The man in your pic knows that
Maybe you should look up the word sincerity
You might find a point
Or maybe not
Fuck I care

unlike jimi hendrix or even kurt cobain amy did not change the landscape of music and how it's perceived, her gift however were her amazing pipes which she stopped using years ago, a couple months back she was all over the internet at a show in serbia where she could barely warble out a note, where was puffy and kelly clarkson or whoever then? it's a bummer when anyone dies a tragic drug fueled death but it's a bummer when a death of one person who was documenting or having documented their decline seems to be a way to say "look at me, i'm so sad" and in reality much sadder shit is going on
i'm not sad or suprised. all i can say is she profited on her habit, she didn't care about anyone else to promote a positive message in her music (at least the crap they played on the radio). its fucked up she had to learn the hard way but what can you say. hopefully you can find the peace in death that you couldn't find in life.

Is there a link between having the Ronsons as aquaintences and fucking up your life?

She allegedly bought, coke, ecstasy and ketamine the night before her death. If she wasn't intentionally trying to kill herself, subliminally she was doing a good job.
