Obscure Wings bassist Sir Paul McCartney played the first of two massive shows at Yankees Stadium last night. McCartney serenaded the crowd with a 35-song set—you can see the full setlist here. The NY Times called the show "a gentle reminder of his survival and vitality." They also noted that he got in a few relevant baseball jokes: “Who is this Derek Jeter guy?” Mr. McCartney joshed. “Somebody said he’s got more hits than me.”

Last night was McCartney's debut at the stadium—previously, he had played at CitiField in 2009, and Shea Stadium in 1965 at a legendary concert (which you can watch here). Below you can see/hear a couple highlights of the show, including a fireworks display during "Live And Let Die," the John Lennon tribute "Here Today," the premiere of neglected Beatles tune "The Night Before," and a rocking "Band On The Run."
