James Franco Is Now A Music Video Star

Last year James Franco joined drag queen and performance artist Kalup Linzy for a live rendition of "Proud Mary" (video!), and now the duo of Kalup & Franco are getting ready to release their EP, called Turn It Up, on July 12th. This has allowed Franco to enter the world of music videos, which shockingly is something he hadn't dipped his feet into yet. You can watch his audio/visual gift to the world below, but don't expect a tour, Linzy says, “James and I have both felt that sometimes developing projects separately and then bringing the other in later helps move the projects along. He is busy with school and films and I pretty much travel the world year round. We’re not planning to tour or anything like that for the EP. The music is a part of an ongoing collaboration.”

Major correction: Kalup Linzy is recognized first and foremost as a performance artist, who performs in and out of drag in his work.

That said, last good Kalup jam was "Chewing Gum". This is NO GOOD. Also, he should stay far away from James Franco. Dude's a leech.
