Glenn Beck Leaves Fox News Tonight, Wine Spiller Speaks
(Via Facebook)
The DVR is probably already set, but just a quick reminder: Tonight is the last episode of Glenn Beck on Fox News. Of course Beck's radio show will continue to broadcast his thoughts, so everyone can still get their fill of insanity once his TV show ends later today.
Beck will likely use most of his final show to heap praise upon his BFF Barack Obama, but if there's any time left, he will certainly (once again) address the "lynching" he narrowly escaped on Monday in Bryant Park. That night, Beck claimed New Yorkers who were sitting near him watching the movie were hostile and one person even purposely dumped wine on his wife's back.
While Beck loves getting in the last word, the woman involved in the infamous wine attack has spoken up. Sara Romanoski - welcome to your 15 minutes. Romanoski told the Village Voice that she was the person who spilled the wine, but that it was an accident, and she apologized right away.
"I couldn't see, but it had made a small puddle, behind [Beck's wife.] I felt awful about spilling wine onto the American flag -- in front of Glenn Beck! I immediately offered my profuse apologies," said Romanoski. "My friend said he thought a little got on [Beck's wife's] pants, but it didn't seem like anything serious and it certainly didn't soak her."
That's certainly not the tragedy that Beck described, but he's probably saving all the facts for tonight's finale. But, first, courtesy Media Matters, here are his greatest hits:

Anyone else notice that the same people who support/agree with/defend the hate that Beck spews forth also accuse everyone else of being intolerant when they spew hate toward him or his hatred?
I call that irony, others might find it funny. But regardless, it's sad when those who hate think they are the only one's entitled to the emotion.

Awww... wook at his wittle smile. What a nice man!

Can't decide which is funnier... Liberal or Conservative outrage?
I was also an eyewitness that night, and what I saw can only be described as Glenn Beck desecrating our beloved American flag. Yes he did! First off, to lie on it in the wet grass to use as a cushion for his fat butt was an abomination in itself. But then before sitting,he stomped heavily on the stars and stripes with his Gestapo boots and cackled weirdly. Later Beck spilled beer all over it, then lit the wet spot on fire as his family futilely tried to stop him. Finally, he pulled out his weiner and peed on it. As I watched this spectacle unfold, I can't tell you how sickened and outraged I was.
Or maybe he just sat down. I couldn't tell. I was too far away.
demcowboy sounds like a 5 year old and spend all day here. I bet he is some kid goofing here. i am relieved since no adult can be as dumb as this?

It amounts to using some common sense here. Sure, Glenn Beck is a douchebag. I agree with that. I also find the irony in the fact that he was at Bryant Park on movie night. It's totally not his scene. And, he most likely knew what he was going in to. He also completely blew-up the incident. The other side... these girls were obviously taking advantage of the opportunity to flex their "libtard" muscle. The evidence is pretty clear that, at the very least, they didn't mind disrupting Beck's evening. It's a shame that they chose this forum for poorly (pourly?) expressing their opinions. But, the internet/twitter revealed their true motive.
So, game over. I still think Beck is the bigger offender, given the entirety of his career. But to choose the path of a child for expressing an opinion really doesn't help in the fight against people whose main ambition is to spew propaganda as much as possible.
They should've either come up with a better way to express themselves or should've just kept their mouths shut.

These weren't New Yorkers. These were freaks on a tantrum.

That man is the real-life embodiment of Ellsworth Toohey.
Sara Romanoski and Lindsey Piscitell spent most of the movie doing everything they could think of to ruin the Beck's evening.
They've both hidden their twitter accounts (saromo and dANGLINGbABY,) but anyone can search gawker "danglingbaby" and find the following comment string by Lindsey, summing up a few highlights of their happy evening -
dANGLINGbABY Mon 27 Jun 2011 11:59 PM SHHHHHHHHHH.
dANGLINGbABY Mon 27 Jun 2011 11:57 PM We truly accidentally spilled a bottle of wine on wifey #4. We were very civilized, apologized for the incident, and gave them some napkins. But we were of course, VERY happy that it happened.
dANGLINGbABY Mon 27 Jun 2011 11:56 PM TWO security guards. One of them yelled at me when I held up a sign that said "Fascist Douchebag", pointed to him and took a picture. Some people are so touchy.
dANGLINGbABY Mon 27 Jun 2011 11:54 PM We tried as best we could tonight. See: gratuitous picture taking followed by immediate email to Gawker. Alas, for someone like GBecks it seems that existence itself is reliant wholly upon ignoring EVERY SINGLE THING that the outside world tells you.
They are utterly contemptible, useless elitist parasitic liberal trash.

Right on. Glenn is a Class Act. Liberals can learn something.
robingee
I'm not sure Class Act is an Official Title, and therefore worthy of Capitalization.
My favorite part is how two douchebags = the entire population of New York are horrible people out to lynch Glenn Beck. Yes, I take responsibility for the behavior of every single one of my fellow New Yorkers, including Stealth Pooper, the homeless guy who used to crap in the stairwell of my building.

Gross. We used to have a "Phantom Shitter" at my college.
But, those Twitter posts do show the true nature of these women and it is very hateful and aggressive towards someone trying to enjoy a night with his family. It would be nice if they could have just let him alone and shown that they are the "better" people.

"Sara Romanoski and Lindsey Piscitell spent most of the movie doing everything they could think of to ruin the Beck's evening."
And yet all they managed was to spill some wine. Those two aren't exactly Bin Laden and al-Zawahiri are they? But yet Beck treats it as his own 9-11.

exaggerate much
ktinnyc
Right? Glenn Beck is crazy! Two girls that spill wine and you bitch about it? Ridiculous!

Demcowboy Is obtuse. Makes arguments out of nonexistence with no facts. Sound as if was stuck at 5 and stop developing.

Coming from someone who has no brain and no chance of every finding or developing one, I'll take that as a compliment. If my arguments came out of nonexistence, then they would come out of your empty head. Since they come out of mine, they are as sound as the law of gravity. Now, be a good boy, and fetch my slippers.
