Lady Gaga Sued, Accused Of Ripping Off Her Own Charity
Following the tragic earthquake and tsunami in Japan earlier this year, Lady Gaga was quick to come out with a We Pray For Japan bracelet, which she sold to raise money for victims. But now the performer is facing a class action lawsuit that alleges she deliberately raised the cost of shipping and handling in order to turn a profit for herself.
The reports all stem from this below 1-800-LAW-FIRM announcement, where attorney Ari Kresch declares, "I'm suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for."
Gaga charged $5 for the bracelets, and $3.99 for shipping and handling, and another .60 cents for tax, which the firm is claiming was inflated so Gaga and her camp could cash in as well. But in Gaga's defense: this guy, really?
Coincidentally, Gaga was in Japan over the weekend for a benefit concert promoting tourism there.

Never try and reason with a cowboy's' fan. They are all bandwagoners anyway. Anyone else think that pic of lady gaga looks like a nazi cartoon of the jews, or was that the point?

Moron vs. Moron. Nothing to see here.

Strong words for someone who has dominated the music industry. What have you dominated... besides a peanut butter & jelly sandwich?
RabbiLaFunque
"dominated the music industry" means marketing garbage to 12 year old girls. I should be impressed by this? Here, want half my PB&J sandwich?

1) What you call garbage, others call music. It's perception and taste. 2) Dominated the music industry outselling just about everyone and garnering the accolade of the most influential entertainer in the world. 3) Marketing is something done by her record label. She makes music.

1) No, I've had her music tasted scientifically in a laboratory. It's garbage. 2) Again, I should be impressed? Saddam dominated Iraq for decades. Why are you so impressed by "domination"? 3) If you don't think she's a self promoting bozo, you must have missed her on Letterman.

1) Since taste in music is subjective, it cannot be scientifically tested. 2) You don't have to be impressed, but you can't deny what she's done. Michael Jackson dominated music too. Comparing musicians to dictators is just silly. 3) Who else is she supposed to promote? As it is with everyone trying to survive, she needs to make money. And I love Letterman, but his questions aren't exactly original and it made good TV just like Madonna and Drew Barrymore did on his show. Who's to say he didn't encourage her to act that way?

1) Oh no, I have done the most scientific of tests, with real test tubes, rats and a number of lab coats. 2) Oh I dunno, Joe Stalin played a mean balalaika 3) So you agree with me that she is a self promoting moron.
Guest
I agree that she's self-promoting, but she's no moron.

Moronicity is in the nose of the beholder.

Yes it is. And her nose is full of candy sometime, so I agree with you on that point.
