Could Christina Hendricks Be The Next Wonder Woman?
In the past, Christina Hendricks has discussed her fantasy role of playing Wonder Woman, saying, "I've been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life ... I had Underoos — I had Wonder Woman Underoos. I heard that rumor... I love it! I'd love to [do it]. That would be such fun! Let's put it out there!"
Enter: Nicolas Winding Refn, the writer/director/producer who wants to cast Hendricks in the Wonder Woman project he wants to make. (Currently there's an IMDB entry for a 2015 Wonder Woman project, though it's unclear if it's related—fans have suggested Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Bridget Regan for the role.)
Refn told a crowd at the Los Angeles Film Festival that he has a "plan in mind” for a Wonder Woman feature, and has said of Hendricks, “If I ever get to do it, she's going to be it.” Though Cinemablend says, "It's worth nothing that Refn didn’t come right out and say he wanted her to wield Wonder Woman’s golden lasso, he just said he wanted her in the movie." But, c'mon, you who would put her in the movie and not cast her as Wonder Woman?
Here are some clips of Lynda Carter in the role—how do you think Hendricks would hold up to her portrayal?

She could end up cast in a villainess role. It would give her just about as much screen time, possibly an even skimpier costume, and have someone else in mind for Wonder Woman herself.
It would be awesome if Hollywood had the ability to write more original scripts and not just redo old movies, make sequels and do movies based on every single comic strip character.

Wonder Woman changed to a different uniform in the comics this year. Ill-advised.
This would work, if Wonder Woman just has to look hot. Between the ass and boobs, she's not designed to be very agile.

Her 'design' doesn't matter. She's a goddess and they don't necessarily follow the laws of physics. And of course she has to be hot, she's a princess among the Amazons.
