Video: What To Do When You're Left Unsupervised In An Airport

airportvid0611.jpg

What do you do when you get stuck overnight in an airport? Sing "Hey Jude"? These two guys decided to document their adventures, where they were (for the most part) unsupervised. So unsupervised, in fact, that they had no problems messing with the intercom system and pouring themselves some beer from one of the bars.

Of course, this has all been done before, but with 100% less beer. [via Laughing Squid]

    These guys are professional photographers/videographers.
That said, I howled with glee watching their vid because, hey - who HASN'T wanted to do what they did in an airport terminal???
(Plus they were also good boys in that they cleaned up after themselves, too.)

Canon ad. Did you see the HUGE RED thing that said EOS sticking out of his bag? Def an ad.

  • Or maybe they just happen to have nice cameras, and along with them excellent editing skills.  just because you can not do it does not mean its fake.

  • Spirit of 76

Do you really think that even if there weren't any TSA guards around, you'd have access to everything these guys did? There aren't any locked doors around the bar or kitchen so anybody would be able to just walk right in and steal beer or food? The cleaning people wouldn't question them or report them? I've got a couple of bridges over the East River I'd like to sell you.

As someone who used to work for one of the busiest airports in the world, I can say that at night, it's easy to get places.

  • Spirit of 76

Fake. These guys just happen to have things like fisheye lenses and camera mounts to attach to wheelchairs? And the lighting is too good. They're just ripping off Harold and Kumar.

  • I read on another site it's an ad for Canon.

  • cr17

You can get fisheye lens for an iphone on a number of sites for about $12-15, and one of those gorillapod mounts or whatever they're called for about the same, so that doesn't seem like the biggest obstacle. The lighting does seem good though.

All the news stories about this refers to two men stranded together in this seemingly well produced video. So who filmed it? I've just been wondering. Cool video but it could be some viral marketing stunt.
