NYPD: One Or Two Brighton Beach Shooters Still At Large

Police have already arrested 19-year-old Iloune Driver in relation to the Brighton Beach shooting that left four injured and 16-year-old Tysha Jones dead. But Driver, who is currently being held without bail in the case, may not be the last person charged in Jones' death.

According to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly it is "possible there may have been more than two shooters." Police were already seeking a second shooter in the grisly case.

Investigators don't believe that Jones was a target in the afternoon shooting, which Jones's mother blames on misplaced police priorities and is thought to be related to an earlier dispute on the beach. Since Driver is believed to be a member of the Crips gang, police are currently investigating whether the shooting was gang related.

It's neither misplaced police priorities, nor misplaced parental priorities. It's just a POS as*hole with a gun. All the cops in the world can't stop that. At least not nowadays. Until cops can conduct stop and frisks at will, criminals will run rampant. But hey, even the briefest impingement of someone's civil liberties is more valuable than a human life (sarcasm). Effin' liberal J/O's. I tell you, I'll take a rogue cop over wanton murder at the hands of crimianls ANY day.
