The Lunch Quadrant: 103rd Street And Lexington

Welcome to the Lunch Quadrant, where we offer you four lunch options (two standing, two sitting) by a given subway stop. This week we're going lunching around the 103rd Street stop on the Lex, an area with not so many super fine dining options, but lots of spots for good eats. Of course, there is no way for us to get all of the spots in the area in here, so feel free to air your complaints (and additions, share the knowledge!) in the comments.

Got a spot by a stop you want us to highlight, or a station you want Quadrent-ed? Shoot us a line at tips@gothamist.com.

I work in this Godforsaken neighborhood and a great place with a super friendly owner and staff is Giovanas (you can see it in the picture to the right of Yo In Yo Out).

Yo in Yo out - sooo good. Wasn't the owner on Chopped?

What's happened? 103rd and Lex used to be Cuchifrito Central! Time marches on, I guess.

I used to go to the El Paso Tacqueria on 97th St. all the time, but unfortunately they got a C on their health inspection so I will not be going back.
