Awesome: Robyn Performing For Passengers At JFK Airport
Most of the time, hanging out at the airport is not exactly a pleasurable experience—but not when Robyn, the platinum-haired Swedish pop star, is hanging out there, too! On June 20th, she'll play a show at JetBlue's Terminal 5 (no, not that one) for JetBlue passengers. So go book a flight now! Just kidding. (Kind of.) The performance is part of JetBlue's Live From T5 concert series, developed by Superfly, the producers of Bonnaroo. They've previously done shows with Sarah McLachlan, Taylor Swift and Raphael Saadiq.
Robyn is currently on the road to promote her excellent Body Talk albums (sadly, she's opening for Katy Perry on many of the dates). Here's her mesmerizing new video, "Call Your Girlfriend," in which she somehow makes even platform sneakers and patterned leggings look cool.

Body Talk was one the most critically-acclaimed albums of last year -- was on all the "top 10" lists. Just because music isn't "popular" doesn't mean it's not good. For someone who clearly fancies him/herself a really smart person, perhaps you should do some reading up on the state of the music industry. It would give you more information so that your snarky comments might actually have a leg to stand on.

Not the best "introduction to Robyn" video, granted. These are better:
I'll gladly give you a like for making me have freshman year of college flashbacks with Do You Know. Wow, those were the days.

Some Scandinavian space midget that could be related to Bjork with a lot less talent, who was rejected from the Fame 2012 tryouts. That's just my guess, or observation, I get the two confused this late.
Get a grip, both of you. Until you've seen her live, you haven't seen anything.

You know what, to your credit I'll give it to her for decent album I'll admit to listening to when I was in college. Unfortunately since she's fallen off the popular radar so to speak, coming back to the mainstream as a dance hall queen isn't doing it for her. Didn't work for Madonna or Cher either, and come to think of it, it's not working for Brittany.
