There's No "Goldman Sachs Grill" At Shake Shack, Okay?

There are lots of things you can hate about the "vampire squid sucking the face of humanity" that is Goldman Sachs (their desserts being one innocuous example) but having a private grill at the new Shack Shake in Battery Park City is, unfortunately, not one of them.

Earlier today Dealbreaker published a story about a "Goldman private grill" at the new Shack which, considering the lines the burger joint is famous for, upset many a soul who've lost a lunch hour waiting for their Shackburgers. But something about the story didn't quite add up to us so we turned to the Shake Shack overlords at Union Square Hospitality Group and they assure us, in no uncertain terms, that "There is absolutely no truth to that rumor."

Further a Goldman rep denies the rumor to Daily Intel. So, feel free to hate on the vampire squid's market manipulations and its male corporate culture, but don't hate them for having a private Goldman Shacks grill. Because they don't have one. Yet.
