I live in amerikka. Pay attention, I am talking about internalized racism - school yourself.  Black people are "that shit" that they have to put up with.  Black folks are their own worse problems - wake up.  As long as you are looking outside and trying to blame the white devil you are walking backwards.  That is the point I was making.  White people are not out in the street shooting black people - black people are out shooting black people.  And black people creating lives of crime isn't really affecting white people - it is mostly affecting other black people.  The life that black people create is the life that they live with.  Racism is racism period - and when it is turned against one's self it is even more dangerous than when it comes from elsewhere.    Bear in mind, I am not speaking of the millions of black people who have become contributing members of society - we've left racism behind - obviously.

But does it really matter how they obtained the slaves or that they actually utilized human beings as slaves? ..And how about after the fact, after slavery was officially done with -- did things get any better for them with persecution and lynchings ect? .. There is no system, slavery to a system is in the mind.  I am saying something bold here - all the atrocities that occurred post slavery are as much due to a fractured sense of self of a broken people as it was due to white people being evil.  Both sides are to blame and ALL must accept responsibility for what happened.  I also understand that it all happened a long time ago and I don't accept those conditions for myself - and thus, I've never had to deal with racism from anyone except maybe other black people.  I was taught early on that anyone who had a problem with my skin color had the problem, not me.  If you had the audacity to admit that fact then you could accept responsibility for your part in looking for a scapegoat every time something happens that could easily be blamed on race.  There are opportunities for everyone, and my people have chosen to succeed.  Not a single relative has ever been on welfare.  No one in my family has shot and killed anyone.  We've never used being black as an excuse for anything.  This is about accepting that in this society there is a standard of behavior - a human standard - that we all should adhere to. Were you alive when the country started, were you alive even 60 years ago? This is my life, and I am incredibly grateful for the struggles that may have preceded my life - but I don't define myself by those paradigms. Let history be history, there is absolute equality between the races - when all can behave as humans. Like I said earlier - equality must be earned. And sometimes you have to fight your own mind for equality.

Well everything you stated, in a perfect world, would be absolutely outstanding. But sorry my friend - you're either pretending to be black, in denial, or disillusioned. I myself look more white than my other side but have grown up around mostly whites and can honestly say that thinking back to the ignorant and racist remarks they normally made about non whites and the disloyalty amongst them and overall hatred towards other races gave me a clear perspective of what and who my people really are (not all). Besides, I actually paid a lot of attention in school to the so biased education and lies being taught especially to children and unlike most Americans, even at a young age, took it upon myself to further my knowledge of this country's history and found that about 90% of what's said in class is complete bullshit weather its political, social ect.. How is it that I have a more clearer view on what's goin on with your people than you do? Sure you can't dwell on the past, and sure you can only focus on success, but that's no excuse for disregarding or detaching yourself from your history or your people and what's goin on around them to this day

You don't have a clear picture of the world and you certainly don't have a clear picture of what is going on with my people (which is ridiculous, all people are my people - at this point in history we are all mixed - so all races are the human race). The only one in this conversation who has talked about passing for one thing or the other is you - and "I had mostly white friends and I look more white" - I assure you, I am darker than a brown paper bag - if that mattered at all - truth is truth.  The paradigm you espouse is a product of niggritude - what you look for you will always find.  If you are looking for bias then I assure you, you will find it. 
As I said, as a human, all people are my people, and I've never been so naive as to disregard the struggles of the past nor the struggles of life today - but what I am saying is that all humans have responsibility for the past and the present... and as long as anyone continues to use race as an excuse - racism will live on.  My point is simply this - no one is the big bad boogeyman, no matter what color.  Stop trying to use something as flimsy as race as an excuse.  It is tiresome.  The black stereotype is propagated by black people... and that stereotype is built on being spoiled pikkininnies who are looking for free lunches from "the man" - and when shit comes up, they want to blame "the system".  Stop, just stop... accept some responsibility and change your paradigm...

Equality must be earned? Are you implying that if a person isn't white, that there is a standard or order to live by in order to obtain the right to live just as equal as the next person? Maybe in YOUR screwed up lil world (white man's world) but this is reality, and to be quite honest, the white race (savage race) are far more responsible for today's screw ups than you'd like to acknowledge.
