DSK's DNA Found On Maid's Shirt

A forensic test has turned up Dominique Strauss-Kahn's DNA on the shirt worn by a hotel maid accusing him of rape, sources tell a French website and NBC New York. The NY Post, which is really in its element with this scandal, reports that Strauss-Kahn's "reputation may be stained for good." Guess you could say its unusual to see men as powerful as Strauss-Kahn in this much trouble! But the positive DNA match might also help explain why his lawyers were quick to claim that the encounter was consensual—if they knew there was a chance of DNA surfacing, that strategy makes a lot more sense.

The 32-year-old Sofitel maid maintains that Strauss-Kahn groped her, locked her in a bedroom and forced her to perform oral sex. DNA testing on other evidence from the scene is continuing, a source tells NBC New York.

    you people are morons!!!
    it's spelled "consentual"
    con·sen·tu·al
[kuhn-sen-choo-uhl]  Show IPA–adjective Law .involving or carried out by mutual consent: a consentual divorce.

     As posted May 16, 2011:

...bim-badda-bing...semen in the right place (for example on the maid's
uniform). Then the preplanned step two: 'cry wolf' to the hotel
administrator who plays his pre-ordained part and calls the vice-squad
who is already ready with the warrant (written and noterized even before
the fellacio occured), who drives to the airport to arrest DSK directly
off his plane before it leaves for Europe. Too much like a movie plot.

    The
'honey-trap' may have been totally consensual - especially if the girl
with the golden mouth was secret service just 'doing her job' to catch
    this zionist puke.

Once she cries 'wolf', has the semen stain on
her work clothes - DSK is done like dinner. How will he ever prove it
was consensual and he was set up? He can't. He is defacto removed for
whatever reasons he was in the way.

The trial will be lurid for sure, lets wait see what the tabloid media in Europe turns up on the cleaning lady. I wonder if DSK was a regular patron at the Sofitel in NYC.

I don't get it... how does his DNA being found on her shirt make the encounter seem "consensual"? Wouldn't there still be DNA on her shirt if he sexually forced himself onto her? He's denying all allegations, saying that nothing at all happened, and then his DNA surfaces...this piece of evidence if nothing helps the prosecution, not the defense.

  • heyhohey

They're saying it's consensual because they knew that his dna would pop up, so he couldn't and didn't deny everything, he's only denying the charge that it was forced.

Yeah I guess I misunderstood his earlier quote of, "I want to say that I deny with the greatest possible firmness all of the allegations that have been made against me."
Them finding DNA on her shirt does not at all prove that it was consensual, though.

  • A DNA sample in a sexual assault case is checked to determine whether it is from sperm cells. One can argue that a woman engaging in consensual sex would  remove her shirt first, especially if she needs it for work afterward. Either this man is the victim of a spy agency setup or he is a psychopath.

Like, gag me with a spoon!

  • "Sources tell," eh ? Can't argue with that... How come a French website got the scoop ?"Strauss-Kahn's "reputation may be stained for good." " The maid's dress too...
