Well...I'm not sure that holds.  I think the people upset about the bin Laden cheering were probably left-leaning, and the people cheering here are probably right-leaning.  So probably not the SAME people.  (No evidence of that, of course -- just my sense.)

That's not to say that cheering either death is necessarily a good or bad thing -- just that everyone's probably consistent in their position, for better or worse.
