Newt Gingrich Will Announce 2012 Candidacy On Wednesday

While a certain New Jersey governor continues to dally while our country lies in ruins, American Patriot, "mid-70s' ladies man," and Reese's peanut butter cup junkie Newt Gingrich is not afraid to take charge and win back the White House. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution is reporting that Gingrich will take to Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday and announce his candidacy to be the President of losing to Obama, followed by what is sure to be a white-knuckle interview with Sean Hannity that night on FOX.

Newt may have name-recognition but that's not necessarily a good thing, as a former advisor to George W. Bush tells the WSJ that Gingrich "feels stale," to voters, and that "he's just been around the track one too many times." Wait, does that refer to his political career or his marriages?

Known for throwing "intellectual and strategic thunderbolts" down from his cloud on K Street, Gingrich is the "ideas machine" of the GOP. He's also the leader of numerous pseudo-lobbying advocacy groups that generate revenue and propel his brand of policy—invaluable when running for president.

However, a recent damning profile in Esquire paints Gingrich as a hypocritical megalomaniac who didn't hesitate to depose a girlfriend to get out of a marriage, and chose wealth over "doing the right thing." His second wife, who learned that her husband proposed to his current wife before they were divorced, said of his presidential prospects: "There's no way…he doesn't connect things like normal people. There's a vacancy—kind of scary, isn't it?" Nonsense! Watch your back, Obama. And you too ladies—Newt's single married.

Newt doesn't seem aware most voters are women, who don't appreciate what he did to his first two wives.

I don't believe any American politician has advanced politically after an acrimonious divorce.

  • Hey, he has all the credentials that Barak Obama lacks, all the stuff that the Right Wing are looking for. He's white! So he's got that going for him.

Newt also has the double-chin and ex-wives Obama doesn't.
