Stevie Nicks Is Sick, Cancels New York Performances
As her new album, In Your Dreams, hits stores (with pretty great reviews), Stevie Nicks has canceled a number of appearances in New York this week after coming down with pneumonia and the flu. Nicks was scheduled to perform on the Today Show and Good Day NY today, and also had a much-anticipated concert at Webster Hall tomorrow night. The 62-year-old is following doctor's orders, however, putting a stop to all travel and staying in bed.
We received the following statement from Nicks via a press release: "I want to apologize to all my fans and hope that we can reschedule and of course I hope you love the new album. It’s for you."
Below, a few of our favorites to enjoy until Ms. Nicks is feeling better. And New York fans, you can always get your fill of the Gold Dust Woman this Friday at the annual Night of a Thousand Stevies!
