Let The Homer Simpson GPS iPhone App Be Your Guide

homerapp0411.jpg Having trouble getting to the forbidden donut shop? Homer Simpson can help—the animated family man is now on the TomTom App for iPhone, and can act as your co-pilot. The PR folks tell us this is the first time a celebrity voice has ever been available for mobile phone based GPS. They added:

The original Homer Simpson voice for the TomTom App for iPhone comes with all the latest maps, which means drivers not only receive Homer's own special words of wisdom, such as "Woo Hoo! You have reached your destination, and you can hold your head up high, because you are a genius!" but also the latest TomTom map store on board their iPhone.
All it's missing is Nelson Muntz's classic laugh for when you make a wrong turn. Here's a little bit of what the Homer Simpson experience will deliver, however:

Maybe one day the MTA will bring a little bit of Homer J. Simpson to their announcement system, though the underground may just become an echo chamber of D'ohs.
