Adorable Art Project Will Make You Feel Better About That Parking Ticket

PARKINGprojecttickets0411.jpg
Feeling better yet?

The Parking Ticket Emotional Reclamation Project is aiming to dull the glaring pain of that bright orange parking ticket (hey, not everyone knows a cop who can fix tickets!). They explain: "Imagine, you come back to your car to find a parking ticket on your windshield. Immediately, depression and self-blame set in. Yet when you open the envelope to assess the damages—Hark!—an angel has come to help you reclaim your emotions! An original work of art lay in tandem with the ticket!" Here's how it's done:

But... is the guerilla placement of art inside the envelope legal? Should bureaucracy and street art mix? And what about the cyclists getting tickets?

  • I think finding this would piss me off more.

I hear they also include directions to a secret location where they discuss a plan of action to punish unnecessary ticketing by cops.

Damn, if you have that much time on your hands, why don't you do something more worthwhile like doing some art with sick kids in a hospital.

Everyone could be doing something more worthwhile at any time. Instead of posting here you could have fed a homeless child with no legs. Think about, man!

now that kid is just sitting there, legless and hungry...thanks a lot shocktheday!

    Poor little Legless Joe...

I kinda dig the sentiment in this (fuck the legality) but I'd rather not have to deal with a parking ticket to get free art, ya know?
