Brooklyn Woman Attacks Bus Driver For Not Killing Dog

Talk about bus rage! A Brooklyn woman reportedly got so enraged after her B74 bus driver swerved to avoid hitting a dog on the street that she cursed and pummeled him while screaming "You should have fucking killed the dog."

But 24-year MTA vet John Russo was not about to kill a canine—especially after his own Jack Russell had recently died. So naturally when a black pooch ran in front of his bus in Coney Island he hit the breaks, which jerked around his passengers. Here's how the scene went down according to Russo: "I stopped—and I prayed to God I didn't hit the dog. And within seconds, this short woman comes up, rips off my badge and punches me in the chest!"

Beyond the punching and the yelling the woman, Yanira Otera, also reportedly threatened to have her boyfriend kill him. What's up with the city employee attacks this week?

Really, Gothamist? You're just going to rehash a NY Post article without doing any actual reporting? Like, you know, maybe seeing if the woman was arrested (she had to have been). Right here, you have a news article that's rehashing another news article with no ending. It's just padding for page views. Some people just have anger issues. Love the bit about "Ill have my boyfriend kill you". I can just imagine the guy rolling his eyes while being told "I need you to whack this bus driver because he messed up my lee-nails!"

If he did hit the dog, the bus would probably have to be stopped, then a police report filed, and possibly file everyone into a new bus. I'm sure that lady would have snapped regardless of which scenario happened.
