13 year old girls are just as sexually driven and enjoy sex as much as 13 year old boys. Both genders at age 13 find adults attractive and dream about doing hard-core sexual stuff to them. It just so happens that when it comes to sex, there is a political bias against males, so males are judged a lot more harsh than females when they date minors.

In reality though, statutory rape is generally a White thing: best way to end it is to simply sterilize and/or euthanize all Caucasians.  Problem solved.

If this wasn't really serious it would be hilarious. There should be no blanket statutory rape laws without taking into consideration circumstances and specifics. obviously the 13 year old was precocious and this 20 year old pretty youthful. They may have been approximately the same in terms of emotional maturity. This was consensual, this was a romp. This was probably the most excitement and drama that 13 year old will ever experience in his life. This is not criminal. Who was it that said the definition of pornography is "you know it when you see it." This was no rape. This woman needs to grow up, no doubt, but this was no rape.

The whole point of the law is to protect children... this girl got caught because the boy was bragging to his friends and mom... clearly he was not very upset by this incident.

Also if the genders were switched I wouldn't care... 12-15 use to be the NORMAL age to get married and start having kids for thousands of years. This stigma that a 13yr old is a child is a relatively new thing that is brought about by society and the Woman's rights movement in particular. People tend to forget the past when they make rules like this and then demonize people who have trouble adapting. Think what you want but Men will always find "young girls" attractive because we've been doing it since our race began and thousands of years of urges can't disappear just because "some" people want it to.

Did she have a position of authority with him? If that is the case, then either way , older woman or older man, it is wrong. However the reality is that in the society today young girls and young boys have sex way too young and like it or not there can be examples where a 20 year old is not as mature as the 13 year old they are having sex with. I think what we all may be feeling about older man versus older woman is that there probably is a greater likelyhood that a younger girl is overpowered the older man than the reverse. Just reality, sorry!
