Early Reports From Radiohead's NYC Newspaper Release

Print isn't dead! Today, starting at 1 p.m., Radiohead released their Universal Sigh newspaper here in New York City, complete with paperboys in Newsies caps. Even those in the Radiohead Support Group For Fans Who Don't Like The King Of Limbs (see below) have to agree that handing out a free 'zine on streets all over the world is a lot better than whatever Justin Bieber did the last time he released a new record.

If you want to pick one up, they're at 560 Broadway, 1515 Broadway, and 4 Union Square South. Early reports are that the line in SoHo is long (and possibly awkward; one line dweller notes, "No one on line for the Radiohead newspaper wants to admit what they're on line for. The looks of judgment from those who ask are withering."). However, outside of 1515 Broadway in Times Square there's a judgment-free zone and no line at all! We've got someone from our team out there in the field, and will report back soon with more details and photos from the scene, as well an overview of the contents of this thing. Until then, enjoy...

By the next album they'll probably have put their entire online presence behind a paywall.
