Person Fatally Struck By L Train, Service Suspended Between Bedford, Atlantic

2011_03_ltrain.jpg A man was struck and killed by an L train at Halsey Street in Brooklyn, which means there is a service suspension. NYC Transit Tweeted, " L now suspended b/t Bedford Ave & Atlantic Ave; NYPD investigation of customer struck by train ongoing at Halsey St." The incident occurred a little before 9 p.m., and it's made traveling on the L difficult—just check out these Tweets:

"L train riders: the L is down because some prick jumped in front of it.", "L train is ruining my night", and "Ahh fuck you L train and your "delay." But there was also, "Pray for the person under the #L #train at Halsey. No #Manhattan bound L train for awhile."

In January, a young man was killed by an oncoming train at the Halsey Street station.

What a selfish prick, just like a New Yorker, no consideration for anyone but himself...good riddance.
