Last Night's Action: Knicks Continue Slide

2011_03_amared.jpg Bucks 102, Knicks 96: 7-11 is where you go for convenience, but for the Knicks that's what their win-loss record is since their trade for Carmelo Anthony. Not so convenient if New York wants to make the playoffs. The Bucks led by as many as sixteen in the first quarter and handed the Knicks their eight loss in their last nine games. Amare Stoudemire scored 28 in the loss and Brandon Jennings scored 37 for Milwaukee in the win. For now, the Knicks are still holding onto the 7th playoff seed in the Eastern Conference, 5 1/2 games ahead of the Bucks and Bobcats, who are tied for 9th.

Magic 95, Nets 85: For the fifth time in six games, the Nets have lost. Hey! That's not as bad as the Knicks, at least. With the win, Orlando swept the season series.

Penguins 1, Devils 0 (SO): James Neal was able to get the puck past Martin Brodeur in a shootout to give Pittsburgh the win. Marc-Andre Fleury had to stop only 21 shots in his shutout victory.

marshMelo has no heart-plays soft and the rest of the team feeds off that. Any player with heart that the sucky Knicks have had recently they have traded.

  • real bad times for the knicks :(
