Chris Brown Won't Face Charges For Good Morning America Freak Out

2011_03_breezy.jpg The apparently temperamental singer Chris Brown will not be investigated by the NYPD for his temper tantrum at ABC's Times Square studios—because ABC won't press charges. That's probably because, even though Brown had a temper tantrum and smashed a window in a dressing room yesterday, Good Morning America wants him back on the show!

Brown was appearing Good Morning America to promote his new album F.A.M.E., was upset that host Robin Roberts asked about his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, whom he beat (he pleaded to felony assault) in 2009. After the interview, he stormed off the set, repeatedly said "it wasn't cool," allegedly smashed a window<, left the studio shirtless and angrily Tweeted, "I'm so over people bringing this past s--t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie Sheen and other celebs for there bulls--t." Here's his interview on GMA:

Roberts brought up the incident this morning, "We wish him the absolute best... We've extended the invitation to him and I sure hope that he takes us up on it, because we'd love to have another chat with him." (ABC News says that Brown is "seriously considering" the offer.) Roberts also emphasized that she didn't surprise Brown with the Rihanna-related questions, "Anytime we have a guest here on the program, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter, the topics that we're going to discuss and we, even right before the interview, I said that to Chris and I was shocked like everybody else was."

Brown seems to have shaken off the incident—he was playing pickup basketball at the West 4th courts and apparently had a great album release party at Webster Hall with Lloyd Banks, Bow Wow and Waka Flocka! Oh, and he was paid $40,000 to show up.

Aside from creating music that will suck, he has been focused on getting more shitty tattoos to make him look hard. That way when he beats another woman, he will look cool in the joint...

ROBIN ROBERTS: "Chris Brown is back, now, tell me, what were you thinking when you threw a chair at the window?"
CHRIS BROWN: "All that's in the past. I've changed. I'm sorry for the whole media circus that occured. But now, I'm here focusing on the album. The album."
ROBERTS: "But what does this say about your anger management issues? You're on probation, you've taken anger management courses, and yet, it seems you still have issues channeling your anger properly?"
BROWN: "I don't understand why you've got to talk about the things I may have done, but not the things other people've done. That's all in the past. Right now, I only wanna talk about the album. The album."

Yes, if the concept of moral hazard provides any guidance...

Shouldn't the DA get involved? I mean, that glass flew out of ABC's window and landed on the city streets and, probably, some bystanders.
