Video: Time Lapse, '80s Style

This 1980s time lapse is pretty amazing, showing a speedy tour through New York City at the time, recording everything from the Twin Towers to a car show to a ride on the subway and a walk to Washington Square Park. Look out for the dog running down the West Side Highway in the beginning! It's well worth watching the full five minutes—and here's a look at Times Square at the time, for more of the "edgy New York" (sigh!) experience.

    It seems the subways haven't changed much since then - they just got dirtier, apparently.
