Giuliani Blasts Obama, Flirts With 2012 During NH Talk

Former mayor Rudy Giuliani was in New Hampshire last night, speaking at a Manchester Republican fundraiser and, surprise, surprise, criticizing President Obama. According to Concord Monitor, the Mayor of 9/11 had a field day calling Obama's foreign policy actions weak, noting that when France proposed instituting a no-fly zone, "Our president, the leader of the free world, said, 'A what? That's hard! A no fly zone is r-r-r-really hard!' Can we stand two more years of this? We have to. Can we stand six more of this? We don't have to. It's up to you, and it's up to me. It's up to the Republican Party.... This president has been a failure in just about everything he's done."

Giuliani continued, "Did it ever occur to (Obama) that every day he spent to make a decision, that people were dying? Gadhafi gets a week to slaughter his people." Then he joked, "I'm going to say something I'll deny ever saying: Hillary Clinton would've been better." However, he did refudiate the birthers, "[Obama's] born in the United States, I don't see any real question about that. And even if some people have some doubts in the back of their minds it's really too late and futile. ... We have so many more important things to talk about."

Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas told the Union Leader, "Seeing him reminds me that this is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I'll never forget watching TV and seeing the mayor telling everybody that it's going to be better."

America's Mayor also discussed his failings in 2008, with his disastrous campaign and how he didn't head to New Hampshire as much as he should have, "I would say lessons learned from last time, and I’ve given this advice to some of the potential candidates. You have to think of it as a very major primary. Think of it as a major commitment of time and effort and focus more on that and less on national campaigning." And if you believe "sources," Rudy is totally thinking about running in 2012.

    verb-noun-9/11

If the republicans want a chance at the oval office in 2012 they need to start fielding credible candidates, of which they currently have zero.

The easiest way to get Obama re-elected is to have someone like Rudy, Huckabee or the Beauty School Dropout to run against him. There are almost no Repulicans without baggage.

  • ANGRYGOD11

This president has been a failure in just about everything he's done.

Unlike you, Rudy, Obama seems to be pretty good at staying married to one woman and his kids still speak to him.

  • Rudy Giuliani would use the infinite money & infinite soldiers to infinitely fight infinite wars, DUH.

  • LazyNanny

Rudy does make a good point. When the French look bold and decisive compared to the U.S. President, you are in deep shit.
But Rudy must just be selling books or lectures or something. He knows his finances would never pass muster with the leftist press, and he will NEVER win the nomination.

  • GalBklyn

Rudy failed us on that day.

NYFD radios were not functioning. Many brave nyfd did not hear the evacuation orders before the towers came down.

The emergency command shelter that he built, under protest of those with more wisdom, costing millions, was under the rubble. There was no central command in which efforts and resources could be coordinated.

How he continues to benefit off of his tragic and catastrophic errors of that day is beyond comprehension.

People lost their lives because of Rudy. Time to stop the BS.

"Our president, the leader of the free world, said, 'A what? That's hard! A no fly zone is r-r-r-really hard!'"

So, Rudy, have you ever had to go to the door of a dead soldier's or pilot's grieving family and tell them how "easy" war is? Oh, that's right, you got your boss to help you dodge the draft back in '69. I hate chickenhawks who've never had a gun or missile aimed at their heads yet have no problem sending others to face it.

  • S.D.

Yep, on top of being a ChickenHawk, that jackass is eager to send other kids to fight...

The US getting involved with a3rd conflict is, IMO, a mistake.

  • criticism!!!! just a part of politics.......................

  • blindmalice

I wish this self=serving lying POS would get off the stage. He will say and do anything in his own self-interest. Of course he wants the US in a THIRD Middle East war. With the Iraq disaster finally winding down, and the endless and fruitless Afghan debacle being discredited, his corporate cronies need to find another source of blood--profits.
Maybe if he runs he will pick his buddy Bernie Kerik as his running mate. BK might be out of prison by then, and looking for a job.

Why not? It should make for an entertaining year and keep Jen busy....
