Would you like to join the team here at Gothamist? We're looking to hire a full-time Account Executive, based in our office in DUMBO, Brooklyn, to help manage our advertising sales. Here are the details:

Gothamist LLC, the leading network of local blogs, is looking for a full-time Account Executive to develop and expand its client base of advertisers. The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting new business and selling ads across our network of sites in addition to assisting the Gothamist sales team manage everyday tasks.

Salary: Competitive base salary, benefits, and commission based on percentage of sales.

Requirements: 



• 2-4 years of digital advertising sales experience is a must
• Successful track record and good agency relationships
• Experience in these verticals preferred: entertainment, lifestyle and alcohol
• Proven ability of generating new business as well as maintaining existing client relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Ability to develop new leads and nurture existing relationships


• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• BS/BA Degree required
