Park Slope Sexual Assault Has Residents On Edge
Though police still haven't released the location of Friday's sexual assault in Park Slope, but various sources are reporting that the suspect attacked the victim while she was at work at a bakery. The assault happened at 9 a.m. and the suspect is still on the loose. One local told ABC 7, "I mean 9 am, that's crazy, there's a lot of people out at 9am."
Neighborhood businesses are on alert after the attack. Chrissi Wagner of Ladybird bakery told the Daily News, "You think you're safe here in Park Slope, but I guess nowhere is safe. It makes me feel better that we always have more than one person here working at all times." Police are still searching for the suspect, who is described at 5'5" and 160 pounds.
