Video: Snow Mounds Are Now Killing Pigeons

A group of friends recently found two pigeons stuck in a mound of snow on the sidewalk, and did their best to rescue the one that was still alive (teenagers: they aren't all bad!). Okay, maybe they could have done better, and they didn't really need to make a comment about Chinese people eating the pigeons... but at least they didn't kick it or kill it or try to pour Four Loko on it (these are just some of the things we imagine teenagers do on the regular). Check out their video documentation below.

Department of Sanitation, there is blood on your hands! Also, do you also think there are ratsicles in these mounds of snow?

I think the steel gates have something to do with the injuries. Where was this exactly?

There are still Christmas trees under there! It's February. Insane.

  • There are ratsicles, and mousesicles too. It was frozen rodent bonanza on top of one of the piles of frozen garbage on my block.

Those must be transplant pigeons because native pigeons know better.
