Video: Lady Gaga Can't Go Home Again

gagalockedout0211.jpg

So that time Lady Gaga tried to get into her old apartment at 176 Stanton Street with Anderson Cooper in tow? Turns out she got in by buzzing every buzzer in the building until someone let her in (she calls this "the New York way"), but the current tenant in her apartment of three years wouldn't allow her to check out her old place. The woman told her she'd "rather not" let her in, and if you watch the below video closely you can almost see Gaga's ego regenerating instantly from the bruise.

The full episode of 60 Minutes will air this Sunday at 7 p.m.

  • Good! Just 'cause she's Lady Gaga doesn't mean people should let her in. Celebrities need to learn that they're people too.

It's rude to just knock on a door and want to come in with a camera, with no warning. Who would be ready for that?

  • DC

She should of let Anderson Cooper knock on the door, i would trust him more then the whatever it is shes suppose to be.

  • zombie_cakes

Can't say I blame them for not letting her in, who the fuck knows what kinda diseases or parasites she's carrying.

  • talltale

That's exactly why I installed a bypass switch in my buzzer's speaker. U mad?

  • Guest

Man this is dumb, I mean she was living in there what 2006?

It's not like Cooper is taking Neil Diamond to his childhood home in Flatbush or Al Pacino to East Harlem or Belmont in the Bronx.

  • I wouldn't let her in either.

  • just saying

Aw c'mon, it's not like she's Cathie Black or something.

  • unretrofiedforu

Uh, babe you do have a thing called 'assistants' right? Usually you have them call ahead if you plan on bringing a video crew - just sayin.

Also she's right - that IS the NY way LOL.

  • Rod

i just say 'this is the nypd, let me in'.

works everytime because people are still stupid and think cops are good guys
