Man's Body Found In Snow-Covered Car Days After Suicide

A man who apparently shot himself with a shotgun inside a car in Flushing was found this morning after police unearthed the car from several feet of snow. Police believe the victim, 36-year-old Kevin Ronan, could have been buried in the car since last Wednesday!

Kevin Ronan, 36, was found around 12:30 a.m., and at 3 a.m. two men and one woman had gathered by the car. One man reportedly began shouting, "That's my son. I want to see him. I want to see him! That's his brother. Let us see him!" Another neighbor said, "I never thought anything of the car being there for a few days. The car behind it has been buried under snow for three weeks now. People leave their cars buried around here. It didn't make me look twice."

No one heard the shotgun blast on this residential street?

Maybe the residents thought it was thunder snow.

In a closed car with the snow outside blunting the sound echoes, it's likely.
