Photos: First Ever High Line Snow Sculpt-Off

Yesterday, we were indoors writing about bagel scarves and anti-bike lane love letters, and were understandably grumpy that we missed out on all the lazy snow day fun. But we did find some vicarious joy in all of the pictures of "snowfigures" made by readers, including one particularly neat Venus de SnowMilo. Even better, some readers and snow enthusiasts took part in the first ever "snow sculpt-off" at the High Line during the snowcation. So take a look at some of the cool designs, including the snow dragon, octopus, rats, Empire State Building, and more!

Next year I will go. Yesterday I just had to much work to do. My sister and friend went and they had a blast. We already have our idea planned out.

    The rats are cool.

  • I've never met a snowman I didn't like, just something about them, being all jolly
