Hours after their owner said he was bringing and end to his team's pursuit of Carmelo Anthony, the Nets played one of their best games this season. Brook Lopez had 20 points as New Jersey rolled past Utah, 103-95, at home. Seven players reached double figures as the Nets snapped a six-game losing streak to win for just the second time in 13 games.

The Knicks couldn't snap their losing streak, which is now at four after a 104-89 loss at Houston. Amar'e Stoudemire had 25 points and five turnovers.

For one game at least, the Rangers do not miss Brandon Dubinsky. Marion Gaborik had four goals in a 7-0 rout of Toronto at the Garden. Dubinksy, who will miss 3-4 weeks with a stress fracture, was hardly needed as the Rangers scored four times in under five minutes in the third period. Ruslan Fedotenko, Brian Boyle and Mats Zuccarello had the other goals.
