Former Senator, former 2008 presidential candidate and former Law & Order DA Fred Thompson weighed in on NYC's nanny state smoking laws. And he wasn't amused, Tweeting, "New NYC law:no smoking on public sidewalks. Makes sense. Wouldn't want tobacco smoke polluting car exhaust coming off the street" Hey, Fred, we have pedestrian plazas and bike lanes, so we are trying to get rid of cars too... but maybe you're referring to the new law in Great Neck, which is just 2 miles from the Big Apple. duh - if it was about our HEALTH, he would've said "no junk food of ANY kind".

the REASON he went after SODA and not junk food is bc he spent the summer trying to get albany to raise a SODA tax to pay for bloomtard's unprecedented spending and waste.
