Stabbed Off-Duty Cop Real Nuisance To Strip Club

More details have emerged about the off-duty cop was stabbed at infamous Bronx strip club the Crazy Horse Cabaret early yesterday morning. And as one harried Crazy Horse employee put it, "It's bad enough you gotta deal with a--holes, but a cop?"

Officer Modesto Alamo ventured to the club around 6 a.m. to pick up his girlfriend after a birthday party; the girlfriend got into a fight with another woman, which led to Alamo allegedly shoving the other woman. That woman's boyfriend then jumped Alamo, and the two wrestled until they were kicked out of the joint. Alamo supposedly screamed, "I need to go to my car to get my s---!," and was on his way to retrieve his gun when he was jumped by another man, who then stabbed him in the leg and stomach. Alamo, who is already under investigation by the NYPD for an alleged domestic assault, was able to drive himself to the hospital, where he denied even being in the club. But a Crazy Horse worker showed police surveillance video of the incident: "We have evidence he was in the club. This guy is screwed," the unidentified worker said.

Hey buddy, there are plenty of decent and honorable cops, performing a thankless job. Don't be such an a##hole, okay?

  • kswissreject

It's probably true, but it seems like all we ever hear about are the bad ones. As they say, no news is good news.

  • In reply to LazyNanny, not kswiss,

The irony of this is that I knew someone would reply to me exactly like you did. It has always seemed to me that:
    a) Cops are being assholes on purpose
    b) and are proud of being seen that way

I wasn't trying to diss cops, but let's not kid ourselves. I've never had one positive experience with a police officer and I am not a street thug nor come across like one. I am the type of person who used to give candy canes to MTA bus drivers..so I am far from an a-hole.

    Call me cynical.

    Hey buddy.
Put yourself in a cop's shoes for just a few minutes okay. They put their LIVES on the line EVERY DAY. For ungrateful pricks all over the city. They want to do their job with respect and get home to their family at the end of the day too. So yea, you are more than just cynical. Maybe count your blessings too and you won't be such a malcontent.

  • FDNY also put their lives on the line, and they are some of the best people in the city. I put my life on the line if I leave my apartment after 2am. What's your point? This is NYC. I went to a bodega last night to buy some food and the cop in there was drunk. Why are you so naive? Maybe you are not, you sound like a cop, honestly...who says, hey buddy?

Too bad for the cop that the worker remembered the Alamo.

6AM? She might be a dancer?

  • His girlfriend had her birthday party at the strip club? Really?
