Alternate Side Parking Regulations Back On Tomorrow

1911parking.jpg

The good time snow party really is over tomorrow: the Department of Transportation announced that Alternate Side Parking Regulations will resume citywide Monday, to facilitate street cleaning and snow clearing operations. And it's just in time for our next snowstorm, which is due to hit the city in the middle of the week. If we're lucky, maybe we'll be stuck in a perpetual loop of snow emergencies/parking regulation suspensions, at least until we learn to use our time to help the residents of Punxsutawney. Or maybe some good-natured City Council member could persuade Bloomberg to suspend parking rules until the Spring, with the aid of some magic matzoh ball soup.
