Riders Hit Bullseye At MSG Bull Invitational

For all you rodeo enthusiasts out there, yesterday was the fifth annual Professional Bull Riders' Invitational at Madison Square Garden. And considering we saw Prince strut his stuff in the same room two weeks ago, the photos strike us as even more ridiculous and awesome. Rodeo Attitude News has a list of the victors, with Douglas Duncan winning the round on two different bulls, named "Silver Valley" and "MySpace" (seriously).

The ultimate winner will be determined over the three days of the competition, and photographer David Andrako tells us it was "pretty exhilarating." Tien Mao also says there were "cowboy hats on both people that looked like they should be wearing them and those that didn't," and yes, there were jeggings. A few bull riders gave WSJ some tips on how to stay on a more mechanical beast. Nine-time PBR World Finals qualifier Luke Snyder says, "Have enough beer to drink, so you can get your courage up." Remember that the next time you're at Viva El Toro!
