Starbucks Takes A Minute And A Half To Explain New Logo

010511starbucks.jpg It's a new year, and even though Starbucks will still be serving up the same burnt coffee to anyone willing to use their ridiculous lingo, they've decided to spruce up their image. But just to show they're not being hasty, they walk possibly traumatized consumers through the change in a minute and a half long video on their website. It turns out the new logo is just their old logo, except without their name emblazoned around it. Yay or Nay? And how long until a Starbucks Logo Twitter account gets set up?

I like the current logo and I'm not crazy about this one, but it could be much worse. I'm glad they didn't change it too much!

Ah Hoon say, "Even Starbucks sick of Starbucks name. Go to Ten-Ren Tea on Mott Street."

  • I've never used their lingo. The few times I've gone to get coffee from starbucks, I order a "small" coffee. They know what I mean.
