Best Blizzageddon Photo Shows True Depth of Storm's Horror

Not long after Brian Elmquist snapped his now-iconic photo of snarled, snow-bound traffic on Coney Island Avenue, the situation swiftly devolved into snowpocalyptic chaos. As you can see here, the neighborhood is now in fiery ruins, and if you look closely, you can spot Beelzebub himself slouching toward the Boardwalk to be born.

There must have been a lot of Group I metals on the buildings that reacted with the water from the snow to cause the fires.

Better slouch quickly, it's a long trek to the Boardwalk. Sure, that's Coney Island Avenue, but where that pic was taken is close to five miles from the actual place called Coney Island.
