201012_tribute.jpg Emmanuel Reyes, 26, the ex-assistant manager who stole $12k in donations and souvenir sales from the Tribute WTC Visitor Center on Liberty Street, has been sentenced to six months in jail. Reyes was busted stealing from the register and doctoring receipts after an audit showed money missing and a camera caught him in the act. Initially, the young father claimed he stole the money to "repay money he'd borrowed to finance his mother's funeral."
