Sources tell the News that the NFL's investigation into the charges that Favre harassed former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger is mostly wrapped up, and will be concluded any day now, presumably before the end of the season. And the nightmare of Favre's final season with the Minnesota Vikings is also almost over, as he reiterated once again in no uncertain terms that he won't be un-retiring next season. Then we can turn our attention back to the truly important sports stories of our time.
